Negotiation booty

I believe that the political factors that are actively preparing for regional elections administered by the regime are asking the wrong question. The question is not whether or not there will be regional elections. That question was answered by the regime some time ago. Yes there will be regional elections, as there were presidential elections on May 20, 2018 and parliamentary elections on December 6, 2020. The correct question that should be asked is whether or not Venezuelans will give legitimacy to those elections, among other reasons because we did not give it to Maduro in May 2018 when they were unconstitutionally called, nor did the International Community give it to him. Likewise, the parliamentary elections of 6D-2020 were rejected by 97% of 6.4 million Venezuelans in the Popular Consultation held from December 7 to 12, 2020, which makes that parliament of the regime as unconstitutional as Maduro and the CNE they are appointing with the diligent collaboration of the opposition parties.

It would be wrong for an unconstitutional parliament to appoint a CNE to call for regional elections or of any other nature because it was rejected by the people in a constitutional and binding manner with a Popular Consultation. If this is so, why are the opposition parties mobilizing all their machinery throughout the country to participate in illegitimate regional elections? And if they are doing so, why do they expect us to legitimize them? With what arguments do they intend to go over the heads of the same people that said no twice to Maduro and his criminals?

Venezuelans cannot prevent a tyranny from calling illegitimate elections, nor can we prevent some parties from selling out by agreeing to participate in them. What would be stupid is for them to think that we will join them in this, pretending to convince Venezuelans that a few positions that have been useless before in the midst of a totalitarian system will now be able to change the ruin of Venezuelans. But what will surely change will be the finances of those parties that will continue surviving to continue selling us that they "continue working to get rid of Maduro", in a sort of macabre vicious circle where both parties, the regime and its opposition, live off each other in a never-ending mutualistic symbiotic relationship. (see in Spanish, Simbiosis, in https://ticsddhh.blogspot.com/2012/12/simbiosis.html).

That is why the President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele has the luxury of responding to Julio Borges as he did via Twitter "If you want to come to power to leave Maduro's Prosecutor and Maduro's Court, you better tell the people the truth. Tell them that supporting you is the same as supporting Maduro. In El Salvador, it took us 30 years to free ourselves from the regime. We are not going to back down now” (see in Spanish Nayib Bukele’s twit in https://twitter.com/nayibbukele/status/1388977961290850306). Yes Borges, tell us the truth... El Salvador took 30 years to get out of a regime and we are on the same path if we continue to support these pseudo leaders like Julio Borges, in their electoral aspirations that seek to live with the regime at the expense of the suffering of the people.

Then, I agree with the Salvadoran President that supporting the opposition is supporting Maduro in his continuist and usurper pretension. That is why Borges did not move a single finger in his capacity as "Presidential Commissioner for Foreign Relations" so that the ambassadors of the Government in Charge would support the participation of the exiles in the Popular Consultation in the different countries, and that the majority of that participation would come from the livers of the Venezuelans who are still in Venezuela, after having more than 5 million exiles up to the present. And yet we still reached 6.4 million to the annoyance of Mr. Julio Borges, who still continues to ignore the result of the mandate of the Venezuelan people, as by the way he also ignored it with the Popular Consultation of 2017 being President of the very same National Assembly. What then can we Venezuelans expect from a next election of the regime with this pseudo opposition?

Venezuelans must wake up to this nightmare once and for all. The parties are promoting arrangements and positions in all Venezuelan states on account of these new regional elections called by Maduro and his new illegitimate CNE. Are we going to continue with them in this guachafita? Are we going to continue allowing them? When will it be time for them to respect the will of those of us who, being the Depositaries of Sovereignty, decide the course of political events?

Many will say to me, "well, what can we do then? And the answer can only be one: Resist civically! If we are going to continue to be screwed in Venezuela and abroad, then don't count on our help! It is unacceptable that those who claim to represent us negotiate positions and benefits in our name to continue prevaricating with the regime and the quality of life of Venezuelans deteriorates every day. If the parties want to negotiate with the regime, let them do so, but not using us as negotiation booty. Let us definitely define that this is not a democracy and now and let the regime and its partners do what they are going to do and let us for the first time do what we have to do. That would at least give us the names of those who lent themselves to this betrayal by the time this tragedy ends. In that way, we would half-clean the list of those who intend to represent us in truly free elections in the foreseeable future.

If Venezuelans do not stand up and tell politicians that enough is enough of abusing our decisions, they will continue to disrespect us. Venezuelans told the world in a Popular Consultation that we demand Maduro and his criminals to leave power in order to hold free, fair and verifiable elections and that we reject the elections of December 6, 2020, making that parliament and the new CNE of the regime illegitimate. If the official opposition does not want to respect this mandate by collaborating with Maduro, we will find a way to make them respect it at home in a civic way.

If the message has not reached the International Community because toxic characters such as Julio Borges do not convey it to them or make them respect it, that does not mean at all that our decision has been that one, and we will also know how to convey it civically at the time of these new illegitimate elections. If things are going to be like this, let's start by abandoning the sad role of negotiation spoils of those who have traditionally seen our faces as assholes, assuming the belligerent role that corresponds to us of a civil society empowered of its leading and decisive role in the events that sooner rather than later will have to come.
